Natural Menopause is back

If you’re over 40 this could help you. If you are 50 plus it’s your time. Whether menopause is on your radar or not, there is a lot I want to share with you, and other women in transition.

Hello again, it’s Belinda Rennie Nutritionist. I started Natural Menopause in 2014; you might have signed up, attended an event – World Menopause Day – or seen me as a client. The vision is still the same as it was 5 years ago. Empower women to know and remember they have choices around their body, moving into and beyond menopause. 

If you are struggling through perimenopause or menopause, what I’ve learnt about the gut and genomics in the last 5 years may help you. Here are my big aha moments. 

  1. Your gut is where estrogen can become friend or foe by the action of gut bacteria.
  2. Care for your gut bacteria and your hormones get happy.
  3. Your genes are the hardware of your health and the environment, your lifestyle is the switches that expresses them.

  5. Care for your gut AND your genes for a symptom free perimenopause and menopause.

As simplistic as this sounds there is a backstory.  I  have introduced Genomic Wellness and Gut Microbiome Testing into my work because of my family’s journey with cancer. I’ve found genetic testing can tell you how you are wired to store fat, metabolise sugar, food addiction, your detox capacity and inflammation, response to stress, hormone production, memory, mood and cognitive flexibility to name a few.
